Yes, I know there is a rule against virtual machine posts but I don't know where else to ask this. Anyway, does it matter what hardware I have in my host machine if I'm using a VirtualBox? I have an Ivy Bridge cpu (i7 3770) and Big Sur isn't compatible with them, but since it's a virtual machine, does that matter? Thanks in advance.
