Motherboard: ASRock Z490M-ITX/ac CPU: i5-10400F GPU: Galaxy GTX660 (buggy - see below) RAM: Team T-Force Dark Za 32GB (2x16GB) 3600MHz DDR4 Followed the Dortania opencore guide for Comet Lake (after first wasting a couple of days downloading various EFI.zip from vaguely similar setups on github...) Motherboard ethernet works. Motherboard wifi working at the moment, initially seemed to be getting confused when I was testing connecting to lots of different SSIDs, but now I've told it to forget all networks except the one in my house, all is well. Audio is working, thought it was broken but then when I select "Internal speaker" as the output device and plug speakers into the front panel, it works. EFI listing:
USB MIDI is not working great, keeps dropping out but I believe that's probably the fault of my $5 Ebay USB-MIDI adapter; trying better hardware (Tascam US-122) soon. Graphics are glitchy since the card is GK106, however when a window starts to go blocky and glitch I find that just switching to another window and then back refreshes it. Still deciding whether to live with that or fork out for a new graphics card... [link] [comments] |
