  • Hardware: CPU: i5 8265U GPU: Nvidia MX150 RAM: 8 GB DDR4 Motherboard/Laptop model: Asus Zenbook UX433FN Screen(s) Number: 1 Screen(s) Resolution: 1920x1080 Audio Codec: ALC294

  • What guide/tool I followed: OpenCore install guide

  • What part I got an issue with: Hi everyone, I'm trying to make audio work on my Asus Zenbook UX433FN. I'm running Catalina 10.15.7 with OpenCore 0.6.3 on a separate SSD while having Windows installed on my main drive. AppleALC is successfully loaded and recognizes my output devices, my mic works but I still get no audio. The only way to get audio working was to uninstall Realtek Audio Controller from Device Manager on Windows. Is there a solution that doesn't require uninstalling it in windows?
