Installing High Sierra without integrated graphics and AMD GPU

Hello everyone.

I've started looking into tutorials for Hackintosh now that I have a new PC, a combination of a Xeon E5-2630V3 and a GTX 970, but I've ran into some walls in the way. In most tutorials I've seen, it seems like I must have a CPU with integrated graphics, like Intel's, or at least an AMD GPU, due to driver support. I know I'll be restricted to running HS and Nvidia web drivers unless I replace my GPU with an AMD, but I can't do it at the moment, for obvious reasons. Kinda makes me regret not buying a Kepler card like the GTX 780, my second option.

Has anyone tried this? Is booting MacOS in these conditions actually possible? In the worst scenario where I'd have to buy an AMD card, would the older ones from the late ATI era still work as well?

Any help would be appreciated. A nice weekend to you all.
