Games running better on Hackintosh?

I'm using my Hackintosh as my main (and only) OS, downloaded Minecraft and noticed an FPS increase for some reason. I've also downloaded a Shader pack that I would normally lag a lot with, but not anymore!
Nonetheless I'm not complaining.
