What's Working?

Pretty much everything

  • Bluetooth
  • Sleep
  • iMessage / Facetime
  • Ethernet

Upon MacOS installation:

Open Terminal and type this in:

ifconfig en0 media 1000baseT mediaopt full-duplex
  • Thunderbolt
  • Sidecar (with USB-C Connection)

One issue I have with Sidecar:

When connecting my iPad to Sidecar and simultaneously in a Zoom Meeting + using OBS to record, computer will restart. I'm not sure if this is due to a memory leak, but this is a specific problem only when I am using Sidecar.

  • Adobe Suite
  • External Devices
    • USB 3.0 4k Webcam
    • Thunderbolt Drive

What's Not Working?

  • WiFi (don't really need it)

Recently upgraded to the RX 6800 from an RX 580 and the noise levels are much better. Hardware acceleration seems to be working on the GPU as well.

Geekbench Scores:

OpenCL

Metal

Pic of my entire setup:

Windows Gaming PC on the right! Check out my profile for a post on it!

If anyone knows why Sidecar + Zoom Meeting + OBS restarts my entire build please LMK.

i9 10850k is undervolted to 1.2V + power limited to 150TDP at 4.6Ghz. Prime95 on Windows maxed out at 82C for 2 hours.
