I finished my very first PC last week. It worked fine and I managed to install windows, play games for little bit and everything was working perfectly. The next morning I was excited to keep playing and it was all working fine. After a few hours of use, suddenly everything shutoff. I went to reboot it and it won’t start. I spent the day troubleshooting. I reseated cables, took out the CMOS battery and put it back in, took out RAM and replaced it, sprayed the MoBo with canned air, reseated more cables, took out the GPU and replaced it, reseated cables again, everything I could find on the internet and nothing worked. I assumed it was likely the PSU that had broke so I did an RMA. My new PSU arrived today and I hooked it up only for the problem to persist. I troubleshot everything again just for good measure and I am all out of ideas.
The one thing I haven’t done is looked at the CPU itself. Is there any chance I melted it? What should I do?
