I created a a Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-catalina-on-supported-pc.html'>Catalina and Big Sur Hackintosh with help of this:
https://github.com/kholia/OSX-KVM/
This took a while but works fine (in particular when using KVM acceleration) But I can't connect to any Apple services or create an Apple ID. I can't even connect via the command line with curl, which I find in particular odd. Other websites work however. From the console I found ""certificate not yet generated" and other messages. Could this be a reason? I googled up this error and it seems to be related to the serial number. The number is hardcoded and shared probably across lots of devices:

Is there an easy way to change it? From the apple website it says the number is valid but service is expired. Do I need to change it at all? I guess easiest would be to change the source. Question is to what.... In another thread I found that the ethernet device needs to be changed to en0. But this is already the case.

Any ideas for debugging/fixing ?
