Hi everyone, I'm excited to post this success. I had tried to install Big Sur before on this laptop but failed. Apparently an issue with booting was resolved in the latest OpenCore 0.6.7. I followed the Dortania guide and managed to get most things working. I borrowed a SSDT file from hagenest's repo to get the battery working.
The most interesting part of this build was the USB mapping. I needed to add in the SSDT-RHUB.aml file from the guide before the internal USB ports would show up (cameras, touch screen, bluetooth). It took a while to figure that out. Other then that is was a straightforward following of the guide.
