For a bit of background information, I'm running Kubuntu.
I followed a guide that I found here, but every tutorial I find in regards to adding features such as GPU passthrough and Microphone support talk about MacOSX Simple KVM, and reference a file called 'basic.sh'
The problem is, my installation doesn't have a file like that, and I don't imaging downloading it from the github would do much other than have an extra file sitting on my hard drive that's not being used. In my current installation folder (~/snap/sosumi/common), I only have an install and launch.sh file, and a few .qcow2 files that crash if I try to edit them with Kate, and I haven't been able to locate anything in regards from getting to the point where I am, to finding the specific files I'd need to edit, or importing them and incorporating them with my VM?
Is MacOSX Simple KVM something I can install over my current OSX iteration, or would it require a completely new install and departure from point zero in order to get these things working? I have a feeling sosumi and the KVM on the github are two entirely different things, but I'm hoping I'm wrong, because iMessage works fine on this current VM I have running, and having to use a finnicky workaround would be a bit more than I'm comfortable doing, for something that's primarily going to be used as an iMessage machine anyway. Thanks for the help.
