Hi all! I moved again from one Coffee Lake B360 board to another and asking you for an advice with remapping USB ports. To achieve perfectly running Hackintosh, I removed old USBMap.kext, enabled XhciPortLimit in config, generated new USBMap.kext with corpnewt's tool, disabled XhciPortLimit again, and booted with new USB Map. Besides that, I keep XHCI-unsupported kext as it's recommended for B360. All ports seem to work fine and nothing causes issues. However, it seems that macOS kept parts of old USB maps? Here's my map: When I tried to verify results with Hackintool, here's what I got: Ports HS03 and HS08 are from the old USB Map, they don't exist on a new board / in a new map Ports HS12, HS13, HS14, SS03 are non existent too, they likely should not be here How could I fix this situation? Should I use Delete option in USB section of Hackintool? But how would one apply results after deleting unnecessary ports here? And by the way, should I use SSDT-USBX.aml, or it's "integrated" into SSDT-EC-USBX-DESKTOP? Thanks for the answers. [link] [comments] |
