Hi there,
yesterday was the day when I got the idea to update my OpenCore. I was running 0.6 before. I downloaded the package for 0.6.6 and swapped the crucial files according to Dortania‘s guide just to realize that my macOS won’t boot anymore.
Since there seem to be some major changes in OC, I grabbed the latest sample.plist right from the 0.6.6 package and rebuilt my config. I set BootProtect to None, reset my NVRAM and set LauncherOption to Full as the guide says. Sanity checker says it’s all good. But I still can’t boot High Sierra. I see the Apple logo and the progress bar for a few seconds and then I get a black screen and nothing happens. This is my current config file: https://www.mediafire.com/file/mnsp9fe1apm9yz0/config.plist/file
I still have my flashdrive with 0.6 but even with that I can’t boot into macOS anymore (I know that was stupid and it should have been the other way around, but I couldn’t find my flashdrive at first and I thought what could go wrong, even if I mess it up I still have my flashdrive somewhere and I can still access my EFI from Windows... well now both EFIs won’t do anymore).
I enabled verbose mode and this is what I get.
I don’t know what to do. :( Any ideas?
