Clone boot drive with EFI in Mountain Lion

I have an old 10.8.4 hackintosh I'm trying to revamp and get ready for an update.

I wanted to clone the osx boot drive to a new larger SSD, but I know CCC won't be able to copy the EFI info to the new cloned drive.

What are my options to make a bootable cloned drive since I'm on Mountain Lion? Will clover configurator work on 10.8.4? Or is there an easier option?
