Preparing Dummy USB for Big Sur update from Catalina. MacOS kernel panic 'No kext summary'

Preparing Dummy USB for <a class='btn-link text-primary' href='/2020/12/install-macos-big-sur-on-supported-pc.html'>Big Sur</a> update from <a class='btn-link text-<span class='badge badge-success'>Success</span>' href='/2020/12/install-macos-catalina-on-supported-pc.html'>Catalina</a>. MacOS <span class='badge badge-danger'>Kernel Panic</span> 'No kext summary'

Can someone please help me?

I'm preparing an OpenCore USB in preparation to upgrade from Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-catalina-on-supported-pc.html'>Catalina to Big Sur.

I've updated OpenCore to the latest version (0.6.5 DEBUG) and all of the kexts except USBMap.kext.

Initially I thought it was a problem with the kexts that I had obtained using Lilu and Friends, so I have tried replacing them with pre-built kexts to no avail.

I've used OCConfigCompare and the sanity checker to update my config.plist, and all look fine.

The Error

The important part of the error I'm getting:

Error unserializing prelink plist: OSUnserializeXML: syntax error near line 1823 .... "Unable to find driver for this platform: \"ACPI\" ..... can't perform kext sccan: no kext summary

My Setup

I've uploaded my OpenCore configuration / EFI folder to GitHub:

https://github.com/rbutera/OpenCore-setup

It includes my hardware list and everything else that you might need.

Please help, I've spent all day doing it and I can't find a solution.
