After a couple of weeks of tinkering with the config.plist, ACPI, kexts, BIOS settings and referencing existing build info found on the net, I have successfully installed and configured macOS Catalina on my HP ProDesk 600 G1 DM Tiny! It is a Haswell build and everything I tested is working, including sleep/wake.
It is critical to have ME enabled in the BIOS as not doing so will break sleep/wake. The only ACPI aml files I used were PLUG and EC. For kexts, I used: FakeSMC, Lilu, Whatevergreen, AppleALC, CPUFriend and Intel Mausi. Haswells are super simple to configure compared to other generations. Hope this helps someone and if you have any questions, post a comment and I will do my best to reply quickly. [link] [comments] |
