Failing at installing MacOS Catalina to laptop m.2

Any help on this issue would be well appreciated.

I managed to get to the Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-catalina-on-supported-pc.html'>Catalina installation page (I had the entire iso on hand vs a recovery for Big Sur) but cannot proceed due to disk utility not reading my main m.2 drive.

I think I can share what I'm doing like this?

The laptop specs:

Acer Spin 5 N54

i7-1065g7

16Gb DDR4 3200mhz

512Gb m.2 NVME ssd SSD manufacturer: SK Hynix Model: HFM512GDJTNI-82A

I cannot seem to find a firmware update for this drive. There don't appear to be any bios options relevant to my problem.
