Do I get same serial number when I use typical EFI including config.plist downloaded for same PC model?

I have certain laptop model and some forum has posted out-of-the-box EFI with necessary kexts, drivers and config.plist file with all ACPI and other stuff. My question simply, does using as-it-is EFI folder cause usage of same serial number of the original one? What are risks here if so especially using App ID and can I verify this from somewhere?
