Why DAFUQ is Clover Configurator so laggy?

...and why dafuq does it have a menubar item???

I have a Samsung 970 Pro 1TB NVME, and I have never seen the spinning beachball until now, and it is lagging all other running apps at the same time :-(

Is it written in JAVA or something?
