Hi I have Big Sur installed on a kingston SSD and also on a Samsung EVO Plus 1tb NVME drive. The installations have identical EFI folders & kexts except for serial info. The Kingston SSD boots in about 4 seconds, the NVME drive in about 30. Is this normal? Anything I can do to fix it?
I'm also using OC 6.3, I believe I saw in the guide that my system should not require the NVMEfixup kext so I don't use it and get great speeds once the system is booted. Could this be the problem?
My Setup:
- ROG Strix Z490-e mobo
- 3.7 GHz i9-10900k
- XFX Radeon RX-5700 XT 8GB
- Corsair Dominator 32GB 3200 MHz ram
- Fenvi 919
- NZXT Kracken z63 AIO cooler & NZXT H510E case
Thanks for any help or advice!
