Shared Storage Drive in Triple Boot Hackintosh (macOS Big Sur, Windows 10, Linux)

I have a triple boot Hackintosh with three OSes (macOS Big Sur, Windows 10, Linux), each on separate SSDs. Everything is working well. Now I want to add a 4TB HDD as a space for shared storage between the three OSes.

I read this post, but I am still unsure about the best format to use for the drive and any risk for corrupted data. Ideally, I would use the shared HDD for my main documents and files, which would be synced with OneDrive. As I understand, it is best to format the HDD as exFAT to ensure compatibility on all three OSes. Is that correct? If not, what is the best format? Would there a problem having my OneDrive files on the HDD?
