is it possible to build a hack mini which is cheaper than M1 but with better performance?

I'm thinking about grabbing a mac mini m1 very soon but I was wondering if it is possible to build one with better spects at cheaper cost?

considering it is size and benchmarks I couldn't find a similar build which could dominate it.
