Hi All!
I successfully installed Catalina onto my system, everything is working but my USB Interface is experiencing weird issues.
Issue: Focusrite 18i20 3rd Gen is crackling when doing system operations such as moving a file, moving the curser etc.
System Specs
Motherboard | Gigabyte Z490 Gaming X |
---|---|
CPU | Intel i9 10850k |
GPU | AMD 5700 XT |
RAM | 64GB 3100hz |
USB Interface | Focusrite 18i20 3rd Gen (EXTERNALLY POWERED) |
Power Supply | Be Quiet 650 WATT |
BOOT LOADER | OpenCore 0.6.4 |
I am new to hackintoshing but I'm comfortable with the process. SSDT's have been patched using Linux. USB's have been mapped and no longer using injectall kext. Everything is working (bluetooth, audio, WiFi, graphics etc). It's just as soon as MacOS begins to boot (not when the computer turns on), I get pops/cracks and odd sounds from my speakers.
Has anyone else had this? I've tried all the normal things. Happy to upload EFI if it helps. I own a studio and want to make this my main machine and this is a huge problem so I'd really appreciate any help on the matter. I'm having thoughts that maybe my power supply isn't powerful enough after doing everyone else's advice.
Please helppp!!!!!
