Hacintosh - Catalina | Thunderbolt connector problem

Hey all!

I just built a hacintosh with the below mentioned primary configuration, running Catalina.

Motherboard -Asus ProArt Z490-CREATOR 10G

CPU - Intel i9 10900K

GPU - AMD Radeon RX 570 4 GB

RAM - 2 X Corsair 16GB DDR4 3000MHz

Boot drive - 1 TB NVME

Cooling System - Corsair Liquid Cooler

Thunderbolt 3 port in recognizes a thunderbolt based hard-drive, but not my sound-card UAD Apollo Twin Thunderbolt.

My sound-card is connected using a thunderbolt 2 female to thunderbolt 3 male adapter from Apple - https://www.apple.com/in/shop/product/MMEL2ZM/A/thunderbolt-3-usb-c-to-thunderbolt-2-adapter

Everything works perfect except this one. What can/should I do to make my system recognize my sound-card?
