I read this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/hackintosh/comments/a2cxll/best_m2_nvme_ssd_for_hackintosh/
but I'd like to ask the same question in November 2020.
I see that Samsung 970 Pro was the "top dog" then but today there's Samsung 980 Pro which is a newer generation and much faster for the same price.
Also, there's the WD_Black SN750 500GB NVMe Internal Gaming SSD with Heatsink - Gen3 PCIe, M.2 2280, 3D NAND - WDS500G3XHC for half the price (~$70 right now) with roughly the same performance as the Samsung 970 Pro.
What's the best NVMe M.2 SSD for a Hackintosh?
I'll be using the Gigabyte Z390 DESIGNARE ATX LGA1151 Motherboard if that matters. It has two M.2 slots.
