So I got an M1 Mac mini...

basic 8/256GB model, more for testing than as my daily driver.

Speedwise, it Geekbenchs much higher than my main i7-6700K hack running 10.15 but runs neck-and-neck in daily tasks.

Running x86 code it's around half as fast.

My hack has 64GB so I guess I'll be hanging onto it for a while still...
