After two long days of trial and (much) error re EFI attempts, I have come to the conclusion that I am not able to make a successful Opencore EFI. I have followed guides and even tried others attempts that are claimed successful on their end. I have tried different board bios, USB inputs, USB sticks, different versions of Opencore, erasing my NVMe and reformatting, not formatting...even tried Catalina to see if I could at least get that going...nope. I usually get this error: 00:000 00:000 OCSB: No suitable signature - Security Violation 00:047 00:047 OCB: Apple Secure Boot prohibits this boot entry, enforcing! 00:165 00:118 OCB: LoadImage failed - Security Violation 09:270 09:104 OCSB: No suitable signature - Security Violation 09:456 00:185 OCB: Apple Secure Boot prohibits this boot entry, enforcing! 09:644 00:188 OCB: LoadImage failed - Security Violation 14:263 04:619 OCSB: No suitable signature - Security Violation 14:447 00:183 OCB: Apple Secure Boot prohibits this boot entry, enforcing! 14:622 00:175 OCB: LoadImage failed - Security Violation I am presently running Clover/Mojave on this system (same on my dual socket intel based) and have been for the last 6 months, and though I really like Mojave, after seeing so many having success w/Big Sur and Opencore... Oh, and here is a pic of the latest fail: [link] [comments] |
