So im trying to migrate from a working Clover build to Opencore. I'm using the open core boot loader with EFI on a usb stick to make sure I have a working open core boot loader.
Ran the sanity checker thing (all green), mapped my usb's and all that good stuff!
Did all the things I have to, like proper kexts, device properties, etc. Correct SSDT's
I erased my usb stick to Mac OS Extended (GUID), mounted it and copied my open core EFI to it.
So what happens, I boot from the USB, it will give me a little screen where I can choose where to boot from (EFI, SSD etc). Obviously, I should select my SSD with MacOS on it, but the problem is that the arrow keys don’t move the selector, so it automatically boots the first option (EFI). It will then show me the apple boot logo, but without any bar underneath it.
I erased my usb stick to Mac OS Extended (GUID), mounted it and copied my open core EFI to it.
How do I fix this?
Intel Core i5 4670k Haswell
Sapphire Radeon HD 7950
MSi Z87-G43
Samsung 840 EVO SSD with working macOS Catalina 10.15.7
