MacBook Pro 13 to hackintosh

Hey all,

I have a MacBook Pro 13” 2020 model for work. It is slow and the fan is constantly spinning hot when running video conf and a 4K monitor

So I want to build an intel NUC Hackintosh.

Since this is a work MacBook with all the apps and config to allow remote work... can I easily (somewhat) clone my current MacBook drive to a new Hackintosh build on the NUC?

Why would I want to change serial numbers? What gotchas should I look out for?

I assume the process would be: - clone MacBook Pro drive - build Hackintosh NUC with Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-catalina-on-supported-pc.html'>Catalina - ensure working Hackintosh - copy new Hackintosh EFI - dump MacBook image onto Hackintosh drive - dump new Hackintosh EFI back on to drive

Thanks for the tips :)
