Fast WIFI, Slow Ethernet

Hello. I have a 240mb/s Internet, but my Hackintosh can only reach this speed via wifi. However, I need a stable connection to work so I installed a CAT5e cable and here is where my problem is.

Through the cable, my internet goes up to 100mb/s. I contacted my IPS and they said that my network board is 10/100 although I believe it allows speed up to 1000mb/s. I’ve tried Everything I know to setup my internet and nothing seems to be the solution.

When I go to SYSTEM PREFERENCES > NETWORK (select ETHERNET and then ADVANCED) > HARDWARE and change the speed to 1000baseT, it’s like the computer is not connected.

I don’t know whether I’m setting up the speed in a wrong way or not. Or even this doesn’t have a solution. Thank you
