I bought a Acer Aspire 5 recently and I was wondering if I can hackintosh it? I use MacOS for mainly Final Cut Pro X and my 2015 MacBook is on the edge of its life. The specs are Ryzen 3 3200g, Vega 3 Graphics, and 4gb (upgraded to 8Gb) of Ram, and it has a 128Gb SSD, but I’m putting another 500gb SSD in it. If it doesn’t work, how good are VMs for editing?
