Hi, I made a thread about this a couple months ago but got like no answers,
I have a 7700k, igpu, and a msi z270 Gaming m5, I have tried over the course of 8-9 months to get open core working on Catalina, (Currently on Mojave 10.14.6 Clover working wonderfully)
New NVME SSD coming in soon, and I want to install OC on it instead of clover, but the issue is no matter what I always get a black screen after IOConsoleUsers: gIOScreenLockState 3.
After about half an hour or so of waiting, the computer sleeps, so I assume that it loads everything as people have said this is a GPU issue.
Interestingly, I tried using the latest version of WhateverGreen on my clover setup, and encountered the same problem, only fixing it by reverting to an older version, (of course the older version doesnt work on catalina) so no idea whats going on.
Also, if you have a 7700k on igpu, could u share your OC EFI folder, no one with one has shared it yet and id like to see how other people are dealing with this problem.
