... so I created a small helper utility: https://github.com/matis-schotte/OpenCoreUpdateChecker/releases/ If added to your login items it will check your current version and compare it with the latest release, and inform you if it doesn't match each time you log in :) If there is no news, the app just quits and won't bother you, at all!
