Motherboard: ASUS P8H61MLE (Sandy Bridge, updated BIOS to support Ivy Bridge)
CPU: Intel I5-3270
RAM: 8GB DDR3
GPU: AMD RX 580 8GB
Storage: 120GB SSD + 120GB SSD+ 1TB+500GB
So, those are my specs.
I was having some trouble when installing MacOS on my PC. I tried many EFI Files for those who already Success fully installed it. But it doesn't work for some reason. I always hang on to this screen
This is after when I choose the installation media.
So if any of yous getting the same error, all you have to do is change a few settings on the config.plist.
To Success fully boot, the changes I made to the config.plist are:
Under Booter > Quirks:
- EnableWriteUnprotector: TRUE
- RebuildAppleMemoryMap: TRUE
- SetupVirtualMap: TRUE
-
SyncRuntimePermissions: TRUE
The OpenCore documentation does state that when RebuildAppleMemoryMap is true, EnableWriteUnprotector must be false; but this didn't work for me. By experimenting and having both set to true, I can now boot Success fully .
*THIS SOLUTION WAS ALREADY POSTED ON TONYMAC'S WEBSITE, I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM AND NOW IT IS WORKING FOR ME.*
