My hackintosh has run stably with an TPLink PCIe wireless adapter that did not include bluetooth functionality (Archer T6E). I'd like to add to add bluetooth functionality, and I've seen a few recommended cards and dongles to try, but I've noticed that the dongles (for instance, the IOGear GBU521) are all listed as 4.0, and the cards that are listed are Wifi+blueooth, which I worry could complicate my existing wifi functionality.
Are there any tried and true bluetooth adapters (USB or otherwise) that use bluetooth 4.2? Alternatively, is there a way to use the bluetooth functionality of a wireless adapter without utilizing its wifi functionality since I already have a wifi card.
