GPU:Radeon 5700
RAM: HyperX 16GBx4 CL 16 3200MHz
Motherboard: MSI MPG EDGE WiFi
SSD: Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500GB
Wifi/BT Card: Deafult Realtek one
Used the open core website, did not create the custom SSDT thing as they now have a file that works with most Ryzen CPUs
What's working, and what isn't working.
- FCP X with no crashes works but the export times are slower than my vega64 hackintosh which has Ryzen gen 1 1700.
- Photoshop and After effects worked after deleting the raw camera plugin file and 2 more extensions I forgot the name
- geek bench score is also shit for metal(39K) and open CL(33K), which is normal from what I have heard as real macs are also having this problem maybe big sur will be more optimized. Also i have heard vega 64 is better are work than 5700 which is a gaming card
- Cinebench score is 4700 better than windows
- Wifi Doesnt work Bluetooth does
- Imessage works
- Airdrop doesnt, but something i did as it says "Item not found"
- sidecar show black screen with ipad pro 2020 12.9inch will test again once i get wifi working, or maybe there is a kext for that
If you guys have similar specs, want me to test anything do let me know, i use it mostly for fcpx, motion, after effects and photoshop. some times sketch for making UIs
For Maya, blender cinema 4d nuke n all I use windows anyways
