Last summer I built my first hackintosh using the Vanilla guide with Clover and Mojave. Since then, I never updated anything, because "never touch a running system". Nevertheless, I'm now planning to do a reinstallation with OC and I've got a couple of question:
- How easy will it be to update a beta system to an final system? I thought, now that I've got some time before lectures begin again, I'll install a beta version of macos Big Sur and then, after Big Sur's official release, I'll just have to upgrade it, like I would upgrade a normal Mac device (if I have the right kexts). Or should I install the latest version of Catalina and then upgrade it to the release version of Big Sur after release.
- I have, next to my OS SSD, a data SSD. It would be very easy, if I've could unplug the data SSD, do a reinstallation on my OS SSD and plug in the data SSD again. But will that work?
- I've the BCM943602CS for WIFI and Bluetooth and it worked very good with my Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse. Does the bluetooth adapter also work on big sur (maybe some of the beta tester can tell me) or will I have issues?
