Hey y’all, I’m still a semi-noob, so apologies if this is obvious or something of the like. Been googling my face off and I’ve only come up with 2 people doing work around, but I feel like there’s a real way to fix this.
So I managed to get my XFX RX580 all set up with Hardware acceleration and all (yay!) I’m running to a TV as my main thru HDMI, and a vertical monitor as my second thru HDMI to display port on the card. Every time I boot, I have to go into my display settings and change my 2nd monitor rotation back to standard and then back to 90 degrees.
I understand this is a tiny thing to deal with, but it’s definitely still an annoyance. I’ve seen two people write a script that rotates and unrotates the display and run it as a macro, but I feel like there’s a setting that could be changed so this isn’t necessary. Also heard something about NVRAM being involved, but I’m not very well versed in that.
Running high Sierra with clover.
