I've been working on my Ryzen-based Hackintosh and managed to get quite a few things set up properly, but I have one issue that I don't know whether it's an app (Twitch Sings) or something with my M-Audio AIR 192 USB Audio Interface. Basically, when I'm singing in Twitch Sings (NOT streaming yet, as I want to make sure things are "working" first), I find that every now and then things freeze for a couple seconds and then resume. I don't experience a full freeze in other apps, but I have had iTunes cut audio for a second or two while using Safari too, which is where it leads me to a potential issue with my audio setup.
I went through the OpenCore Desktop Guide and used the Ryzen-specific instructions. I have AppleALC & LiLu kexts installed, but I think those are for the onboard Realtek audio on my motherboard I'm not using. Didn't even have to map USB ports as all of them work as expected (tested with a USB 3.0 external HDD that indicates a USB 2.0 or 3.0 connection).
I totally get it if the biggest issue is that I'm trying to run a basic "game" of sorts (Twitch Sings). That said, if there's something else I can try I'd greatly appreciate it. Maybe it's something simple I missed.
System Specs:
AMD Ryzen 2700X 8-Core / 16-thread CPU
32GB G.Skill Trident Z RGB Memory (DDR-3200)
ASUS ROG Strix B450-F mainboard
OpenCore 0.5.9
MacOS 10.15.5 Catalina
If I've missed any information, feel free to let me know. I am definitely a newbie at this, so the fact I have everything running the way I do so far means I've done at least something right. Maybe I just set my expectations too high, maybe I missed something.....
