Newbie here, I read about the new Vanilla AMD support on AMD OS X and wanted to try it myself, downloaded the gibMacOS tool they recommend on their website to download the installation files on Windows.
But it's incredibly unreliable and I can't seem to download the files for enough time for them to be usable. I wanted to download macOS High Sierra, since I don't use USB sticks all that often and an 8gb stick is all I have in hand. The files are annoying since they "download" and the gibMacOS downloader says they downloaded successfully and there were no faiilures.
But it's all unusable files with the same file name that weight barely over 10mb, most of them around 500 kb. When the makeInstall file and the program itself wants and says its downloading files around 20-400mb
Is there an alternate download source for these files? Or is there something I'm not setting up correctly? because after a few hours of trying I doesn't seem for these downloads to last longer than a minute or to weight more than 20mb.
Hopefully I can figure the rest of the installation process on my own, but I can't download the main files to start.
