How do I format an SSD so that I can use it on windows as like a game drive but also for all of MacOS

hello. i could not see a post that had all the specifics of mine so here goes.

I have a 500GB SSD that i just installed into my system but it has windows on it. It was a primary boot drive in an old system but i wanna use it in my main system now as a game drive for windows/ but i also want to install all of MacOS and run MacOS from that drive. so as a starting point, can someone tell me specific settings and software to use to format it. i asked on the discord server and someone said AFPS GUID but i have no idea what that means and i right clicked format on the drive as well as downloaded Easeus but neither of them had the AFPS GUID option so im really lost.
