So first off I know that you shouldn't post about virtual machines here but I think that this community would be the most knowledgeable about that kind of thing. I tried to stay within the spirit of the rules hear but if mods feel otherwise just let me know and I'll take it down. I'm just really confused about this. So I have been at this most of the day now and just can't seem to figure this out. whenever I try to log into iMessage with my Apple ID it sends a verification code to my phone but when I type it in it just loads for a few seconds then errors out. I did some research and I think it's that my virtual machine doesn't look like an apple device to the servers. From what I can gather it looks like it has something to do with my device's NVRAM (sorry I can be more specific I don't understand it myself). I tried following some guides online to fix it, which involved mounting EFI Partitions using Clover Configurator. But when I open the partition in the EFI folder there is only the APPLE folder. I'm honestly just really stuck/confused (I've never used a regular Mac device let alone a hackintosh). So any help troubleshooting/fixing this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
This is all on a Dell Inspiron 7577 with a i5-7300HQ, 16gb of ram, GTX 1060 max q, and a 256gb SSD. I have allocated 2 cores, about 2gb of ram, 30gb from the SSD, and maxed out the vram slider.
