Was actually lower on Catalina Fully installed Big Sur with USB installer. I used this guide to create a bootable usb and perform a clean install. I then used a Time Machine backup to restore a backup from my previous Catalina install. Hardware listed below. Hardware: Motherboard: Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Pro WiFi | BIOS revision 12c CPU: Intel Core i5 9600K OC'd to 4.8 GHz RAM: 32GB G.Skill Trident Z RGB GPU: Saphire Nitro+ RX 5700XT Boot Drive: Kingston A2000 256GB NVME M.2 SSD WiFi Card: Fenvi T-919 Codec: ALC1220 CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i Platinum SE (This AIO causes sleep to not function due to the cooler constantly polling for CPU temp through the motherboard USB header. Have not found a way around this yet.) What Works? Everything so far (except for sleep which is due to the AIO connected to the USB header) including DMR, Power Management, Hardware Decode, iServices, Reboot/Shutdown, Fan/Temp Sensors, USB Mappings, Audio, ect. Note: Safari likes to crash A LOT Happy Hackintoshing! [link] [comments] |
