Remote access options?

I've created a Catalina OSX VM in Proxmox and really enjoying it so far. However, 99.9% of the time, I access OSX remotely and have been using Chrome Remote Desktop as VNC performance is generally not great. I tried noMachine as I heard it supports sound but I have not been able to get it working.

Compared to Windows, the options seem quite slim. I previously used Parsec on Windows which is mostly for game streaming but which works really well for remote desktop access also.

Is there any remote access options anyone can recommend? Particularly if it supports sound also?
