Photoshop CC 2020 crashes when adding a new black/white layer

Hi,

maybe there is anyone here to dig in deeper. I'm using Photoshop CC 2020 on my Hackintosh and when I try to add a new black&white layer PS is crashing (see screenshot below). Only B/W is not working. The other layers cstyles can be added without any issue.

Anyone else having a similar problem? Or does anyone have any suggestion to overcome that?

Hardware:

• CPU: AMD Ryzon 3900X
• GPU: MSI Radeon RX 580
• RAM: 64 GB
• Motherboard/Laptop model: Gigabyte Aeros Elite
