Hey there! I want to reinstall macOS in my laptop and found some guides for my particular model, both with Opencore and Clover, for Catalina. I have a Dell Inspiron 7577 Gaming, with a Kaby Lake Intel Core i5 and nVidia 1060 Max-Q, that I know won't work on macOS, but I'm satisfied with integrated graphics.
As I don't have access to a real Mac, I got the Catalina installer using gibMacOS. I initially made the USB installer with the default options, downloaded the kexts and drivers listed in the Clover guide, built my config.plist and booted it. It booted without any problem but the installer required an internet connection. I came across a post here on reddit that said that I must use Clover r5092 to properly inject the network kexts, so I loaded that version (and some previous ones too), but it won't boot to the installer anymore. Searching again, it came apparent that I needed AptioMemoryFix, downloaded the pre-Opencore version and it doesn't go further than the previous screenshot.
After doing all that, I used the Opencore approach as in the other guide, and it boots, but it gets stuck just before giving me the option to install macOS.
I'd greatly appreciate any advice. Please forgive any mistakes in grammar, as English is not my first language.
