I booted my AMD PC with OpenCore, I didn't install Catalina as I needed to fix the Wan/Lan (technically I need a new card as I have Intel 9260). Anyway, I checked CPU-Z (v1.91.0.x64) for my network card details, and I noticed it said that my mobo was Mac7,1! I also checked with CPU-Z MSI (v1.92.0). This was obviously only something setup in the config.plist. Anyone know why it's kept the settings from a boot, without even installing MacOS!? Should I be worried it's no longer recognising my MSI B450!? Windows (CPU-Z) registers MSI B450 motherboard as MacPro71 Cheers :) [link] [comments] |
