What’s a good way to get Hardware IDs?

Hi, I‘m trying to set up my first Hackintosh and I‘m actually stuck at the very beginning. I need the hardware IDs of the parts I‘ve built in. I am currently running no OS so I thought a Linux Live USB stick might be a good idea but I didn’t manage to boot from that. I feel like the USB drive got corrupted in the process but I also can’t fix it and retry, because my MacBook doesn’t recognize it anymore.

What’s a good way to get hardware IDs? Is there a way to fix my USB stick?
