Sony Vaio shuts off after a short time when I turn on inject Intel (clover)

So for some time I had a perfectly working hackintosh on my Sony Vaio SVS15. Running El Capitan, recently I decided to reinstall because it was getting a bit buggy and wanted a clean slate.

Now I can't get Intel gfx to work. Everything is fine without injecting graphics but obviously any graphical animation is atrocious and it's generally unusable. As soon as I tick inject Intel it's almost like it overheats because after a while the laptop just abruptly turns off. Checked the temp in Intel power gadget and it never goes above about 65C and the fan is running. With inject Intel off I can get it to hit 75c+ if I load up the CPU and it's fine so I'm completely lost! Intel i7-3612QM with Intel HD 4000.
