I successfully got an OpenCore system running using an ASUS Prime x299 Deluxe ii, but the motherboard was lacking features I really felt I needed, so I'm attempting to get the same system working with a Gigabyte x299 Designare ex.
Right now I can get OpenCore to display the picker, but regardless of whether I choose install OS (external) or try to boot from the previous installation on my HD, the screen goes to black immediately after making my selection without any hint as to what could have happened. I'm running the debug version of OpenCore in verbose mode. What do I do when there's nothing hinting at what happened? Text files are left on my EFI seemingly outlining the process, but it doesn't seem to indicate anything obvious.
Is there weirdness regarding Gigabyte x299 Mobos and OpenCore?
