I had windows installed on my computer previously so I partition the drive and installed mac OS on the other partition. When I boot my computer from the opencore bootloader from my computer's EFI partition it gives me the option to boot to mac OS but not Windows. The interesting part is that when I attempt to boot from my USB installer Windows is an option except that I get a opencore critical error when I attempt it. Previously when I had dual booted with clover all I had to do was to change the name of bootmgfw.efi in the /EFI/Microsoft/Boot folder and it would load clover and detect the Windows installation. Some forum posts recommended that windows be installed on a GPT partition and I verified that it is. Here's my EFI folder: [link] [comments] |
